Australia’s veteran player Glenn Maxwell performed brilliantly and Australia won against Afghanistan.  Afghanistan scored 291 runs batting ahead of the World Cup 2023 match at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.  In response, Australia won the match by losing 7 wickets.  Glenn Maxwell scored a double century.  However, he could not break Ishan Kishan’s record.
Record for fastest double century
 In fact, Ishan Kishan holds the record for scoring the fastest double century in ODIs. Ishan scored a 126-ball double century against Bangladesh in 2022. Maxwell has reached the second position in this matter.

Maxwell scored a double century in 128 balls. It lags behind the North in this regard. Chris Gayle is number three. West Indies cricketer Gayle scored a double century against Zimbabwe in 2015 off 138 balls.
